My name is Youri, and I am the founder of Beren Software. During my studies in HBO-ICT, I discovered my passion for app development, which led to the creation of my successful app, Work Counter. This app has now been downloaded over 200,000 times and has 20,000 monthly users. During my studies, I also interned for a year at Triple, a company that develops apps for major brands such as Vodafone, Ziggo, Buienradar, and NPO. During my internship at Triple, I conducted research into Augmented Reality (AR) and image recognition. I developed an app that could film objects, which were then recognized and provided with an AR overlay.

In addition to app development, I also discovered my talent for graphic design. What started as a hobby with Photoshop quickly grew into an important part of my services. For my graduation project, I decided to design an app within my own company. I researched and developed an app that could support multiple webshops from different clients. This made it possible to work more efficiently without having to develop a new app for each client. Thanks to my research, it was possible to create a flexible app that could be customized to the client’s needs, both functionally and in terms of appearance. I successfully completed this graduation project with a grade of 9.

I decided to start my own company because I enjoy creating things and because, in my own company, I have the freedom to undertake multiple ventures, such as app development and graphic design. Combining different disciplines keeps me sharp, as it challenges me to use various aspects and skills.
